Welcome to Keene Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth Baseball, and Softball (also known as GKYBSA)!

The purpose of our organization is to provide an opportunity for youngsters to learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball and to facilitate their enjoyable participation in this activity so they may become happier and better people. Objectives include the development of positive social values and character traits, good citizenship, physical and mental well being, and a knowledge, appreciation and interest in baseball and softball. The primary goal of this program is that all boys and girls who sign up and tryout, be placed on a team and given the opportunity to participate in every game. Additionally, that the welfare of all participants be kept free from any adult ambition or personal glory.

Seasons Offered

Keene Cal Ripken & Babe Ruth offers multiple seasons each year:

Spring Ball (Late April through Late June): Available to T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Rookie, Minors, Majors, and Softball (Start date is dependent on the weather).

Babe Ruth Spring Ball (Late May through Early July): Babe Ruth has a delayed start, as we schedule our season to begin at the end of the school season.

All Stars - Baseball (Early June through Late July/August): Tournaments for 10U, 11U, 12U All Stars begin in early June. Depending on success, these teams could potentially play into late July or early August.

Tournaments for 13U and 15U All Stars begin in later June. Depending on success, these teams could potentially play into mid-late August.

Summer Ball (Early July through August): Available to Rookie, Minors, Majors, and Softball (if there is interest).

Once you are registered for any season, please expect a delay in terms of receiving communication from a coach. Behind the scenes we are determining registration numbers, forming teams, lining up volunteer coaches, and doing our best to get the ball rolling! We appreciate your patience!!

Coach Pitch: Saturday, March 23rd through Saturday, April 13th 8-9am

Rookie League: Saturday, March 23rd through Saturday, April 13th 9-10am

Minor League: Sunday, March 24th through Sunday, April 14th 8-9am (ONLY exception - instead of 3/31/24, this session will take place Friday, 3/29 6-7pm)

Major League: Sunday, March 24th through Sunday, April 14th 9-10am (ONLY exception - instead of 3/31/24, this session will take place Friday, 3/29 7-8pm)
